The trplayer program substitutes for the executable portion of RealPlayer, so all you need is its libraries - no configuration required. If you u;npack the archive correctly it will be entirely in /usr/lib/RealPlayer8. If you put it in the wrong place, just use 'mv' to move the RealPlayer8 directory to /usr/lib. You can put trplayer anywhere you want on the executable path, it knows how to find the RealPlayer8 libraries. Chuck > how/where to install which components. The README tells me nothing.
