Hi I'm having difficulty in getting Linux installed on this new computer. I wondered if someone could patch the ATA100 Slackware 8 kernel with Speakup? Perhaps Kirk could put it in the Slackware 8 directory? I'd be grateful if someone could mail me a copy of a kernel that would enable me to install Slackware on this machine. I don't suppose that I could compile a kernel using djgpp development tools in the Windows environment? Many thanks.
