Well I looked at some of these other registrars and found that http://www.godaddy.com is the best one for me. I've gone ahead and initiated a domain transfer of asmodean.net since it's due to expire soon. To me re-registering it for $8.95 /year is much better than $60.00 for 2 years which is the current price at my current registrar http://www.registrars.com.
