Hi, My probrems with patching the kernel extend to kernels from <http://www.kernel.org>. Thanks for your suggestions. I have since downloaded and tried installing Bill's RH7.2. The cds I burned from the downloaded images are no good. The installer keeps saying it can't find a Readhat cd. Just for grins, I put my RH7.0 cd in, the installer could find that. Maybe I'll try an install from the net? -Dave
