Yes, I would think things would be quite a bit easier if the cards are the same brand and model so the same driver module could be used for both of them. I intend to do just that. I was more concerned about the boards conflicting with each other and stuff like that. I noticed your's are plug and play so they probably compensated for themselves. I wonder if I have to pull the other card out of my machine while configuring each one's I/O address and IRQ number or if the DOS configuration program can probe for each device all at the same time.
