Hi: Speakupconfig is merely a configuration tool for loadspk. I believe that loadspk will still work, but there are 2 things to keep in mind. 1. Loadspk does not support some features that have been added (I think), like keyboard echo. 2. Loadspk is no longer being supported, meaning that although it might still be compatible with speakup, it may at some point become incompatible. Geoff.
