Hi: The alsa 0.9 betas are out, but I'd avoid them for now if I were you (I only know 2 people who've gotten them to work). Get 0.5.10B. You will need to download the driver, the lib and the utils from http://www.alsa-project.org. Installing them can be a bit of a headache, so let us know if you need assistance. But they definitely work better than the ossfree drivers. You can get jocr from http://jocr.sourceforge.net. Geoff.
