Hi. I don't want to start a screen reader war here on what is best and what is shitty. What works for some may not work for others. I happen to respectfully disagree about window-eyes not being usable without set files. In my job when I do have to use windows I've found that some proppriatary software will speak much better when using window-eyes rather than jfw. Also, if jfw didn't include a lot of its scripts for it's many applications it would not talk very nicely by itself. When it comes down to it. Whether you use emacspeak or speakup for Linux or whether you use window-eyes or jfw for windows everyone has their personal tastes and preferences as well as personal experience which may lead one toward one product or another. At least we can agree on the fact that Linux is much better than Windows so regardless of whether we prefer jfw or window-eyes on the windows side at least we agree that speakup is awesome on the linux side. *smile* PS: Please don't take what I said personally, I'm just showing the other side of the coin.
