Hi, At this point, Tuxtalk is just a "toy" to play text to speech through your sound system. It doesn't work with Speakup, (yet). It is not a module (yet). It is a little program based on the rsynth base to demonstrate that software speech can be done. It needs a lot of work to make it fast. It needs work on it's pronunciation to make it more intelligible. It will then need to be modularized to load into kernel space in order to be used with Speakup... We got a long way to go yet.
