Hi all, A while back I was asking questions on this list about a 14.4 modem that I had in an 486 (100 Mhz). The problem was that it was communcating slowly and pppd was sending lcp timeout requests, and was eventually hanging up. I never got that problem solved. As I was thinking about it this morning, it occurred to me that the modem is a Cirrus logic one (ati3 returns "clmd14.4"). Could this fact have anything to do with my problem? I think that Chuck might remember what I'm referring to here, as he was the only one at the time that was helping me trouble shoot my problem. Thanks Chuck and all for any help in advance. Greg
