Ok, this seems unlikely to me but I am having a problem that suggests there is a conflict between having the 3com Etherlink III selected and speakup selected in my Kernel. I used the same configuration and when speakup and the therlink card are selected the nic doesn't work, when I unchoose the speakup option and recompile, the nic works. Any suggestions?
