Hi! Please excuse me if this message is off-topic for this list and point me to the correct one! I've been spending the last month or so with zipspeak, learning the basic ropes of Linux. Finally, I decided to check out emacs with emacspeak, downloaded emacs-20.7.tar.gz from gnu and read the installation docs. I did what they told me, but no joy! The error msgs I got pertained to missing library files. Are there some files I should get for zipspeak to do the job properly or, even better, some links I could create on my system? Stay well!
