Yea, I typically will turn it on whenever I go into VI but turn it off immediately upon exiting for the reasons stated below. The cursoring support is not yet complete and is therefore still considered experimental. Yes, it makes cursoring around an editor a lot easier, but it breaks a lot of other speech output.
