Hi folks. Ok, I just ran the checkout script from the drivers/char/speakup directory and it told me speakup was successfully patched. Now do I just run make oldconfig from the /usr/src/linux directory and recompile the kernel to get the new version of speakup? Sorry if this has been covered...
