Yeah, that because you upgrade to cvs from a 10a tar ball. We did away with some of the functions and they haven't been removed in your tree. The simple solution is to blow away the tree and unpack fresh and checkout again. If you already have a .config move it out of the way before blowing away the tree and put it back before doing a make oldconfig but after doing make mrproper.
