Hi Chuck: OK, I like the idea, but I must be thick or something because the commands don't make much sense to me. It's not very clear what #X and #Y (or whatever) mean in the command examples. Also, I don't find the -e option very intuitive. couldn't you just assume it if -m or -w weren't present? To me, 'afix foobar.wav' is more natural than 'afix -e foobar.wav'.
