Hi: Can't comment on slackware binaries as I don't run it, but I use cdplay from the cdtool package. The thing I like about cdtool is that it provides several command-line CD-audio tools, including tools to obtain and store cddb information. The cdcd program also comes recommended and has similar features, though I've not gotten around to playing with it yet. Geoff.
