Hi: I wish you the best of luck. My impressions of SUSE were that it's very graphical in nature, but if its got a text install and can be made not to install/load X then you might be on to something. The neat thing about SUSE is that the ALSA guy works for them and hence ALSA comes as standard. Geoff.
