Greetings, with much anticipation, I downloaded Zipspeak and set it up as per the accompanying instructions. Although the system boots fine, I do not get any speech with my DoubleTalk LT synth on com1. Should speech start automatically, or must I modify something as root to get things started? I downloaded the LTLK kernel and, just incase loadlin was causing trouble, tried booting from a floppy. Again, the system seems to boot fine, I can login as root, etc..., just no speech. If anyone would be so kind as to tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be really appreciative. Steve
