Hi Christopher
I tryed using rawrite this morning, and now the bare-i.apc boots! and It
asks for the root disk! cool! OK, now the root disk goes in, color.gz, and I
get a super read failed, and at the end a kernel panic: vfs: unable to mount
root fs on 02:1c
I'll try the text.gz root disk next.
  Pete

Peter,
Rather than using loadlin, I'd copy the files on two floppies and boot
from floppy.
I generally use the text.gz because it has the text-based installer.
Chris
