Brent - I often compose offline with Pine by using the "postpone" command when I finish a message, instead of the "send" command. When I finish a batch of replies/forwards/composes I will then get online, and retrieve and send my postponed messages one at a time. Not quite as elegant as Janina's solution, but just one more way to skin the cat... Chuck.
