Hi Vick: Nice description of your problem there. You cannot access it because anonymous logins are a very special case of ftp which restrict the users logging in to a very specific subdirectory tree. This is to keep anonymous logins out of your main directory tree. If you really want to have anonymous access to the cd then you will need to mount it down in the ftp tree someplace. The ftp tree usually starts at /var/spool/ftp.
