If you're in Linux and you want to reboot, you can just press control-alt-delete, though it would be a good idea to shut down any programs you have running first. If you are using ZipSpeak, then you will always come up into DOS or Windows when you boot, and you can start Linux from there. If you're using a full Linux distribution like Slackware, Debian, or Red Hat, then you will need to set up a dual-boot system, where you choose which operating system you want to run when you boot. The Slackware, Debian, and Red Hat installers make it easy to do this, though you won't have speech when you're at the boot prompt. If you're running a dual-boot system and you want to remove the boot loader so you can take off Linux, you can probably do this by typing: fdisk /mbr If that doesn't work, go into fdisk and make your DOS or Windows partition the active one. Then you can delete your Linux partitions. -- Matt Campbell <mattcamp at crosswinds.net> Web site: http://www.crosswinds.net/~mattcamp/ ICQ #: 33005941
