Yes, have someone send you a boot disk with speakup compiled into it. I am getting ready to do some kernal hacking myself so if you want I can make you one. What partition and drive is your Red Hat located in. I am about to compile a2.2.17 kernal, and I believe 6.2 uses a 2.2.14, but it would be slightly newer than the one you have. Another option is to grab the install.img for your synth, and rawrite an image of the rescue.img. AT the boot prompt you can type rescue, and the Red Hat 6.2 disks should boot into rescue mode. ----- Original Message ----- From: <awesome-dave1@xxxxxxxx> To: <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Sunday, December 31, 2000 12:07 PM Subject: redhat boot. > Hello, > Does anyone know how to get a redhat 6.2 machine back after > inadvertently deleting the lilo mbr?
