Is there a device that can send text displayed on a TV to a computer in plain ascii? I'd like this ability for doing on-screen programming, since this satellite receiver I was thinking about requires a lot of menu work to change frequency and modes for audio subcarrier channels, and it doesn't look like you can set the whole mode to use i a preset, it goes to the channel, but not to the exact subcarrier I want without messing in menus.
