do the rpm file contain the libraries? saqib -----Original Message----- From: speakup-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-admin at braille.uwo.ca]On Behalf Of William F. Hi all, The latest version of RealPlayer can be found at ftp://linux-speakup.org/pub/linux/goodies/. There are two files. RealPlayer-8.0.i386.rpm is a package containing all the RP8 files. RealPlayer-libs-8.0.tar.gz is a tarball containing only the libraries. To install the RPM, do rpm -UV RealPlayer-8.0.i386.rpm. If the system complains that you are installing on the wrong architecture, add --ignorearch to the command line. To install the libraries only, cd to /usr/lib. Then do: tar -zxpf <path>/RealPlayer-libs-8.0.tar.gz Any questions, call or write. Bill in Denver PS. You'll probably need to grab the latest version of TRPlayer. ftp://linux-speakup.org/pub/goodies/linux/trplayer/devel/.
