Hi: Under debian, you don't need it all in aliases. In fact, it's better if it's not, as aliases can get replaced during an upgrade. It will ask you about it, but it's easier to let it do what it has to do rather than have to manually change it out and then back in again. Update-modules will put in any files that are in /etc/modutils, so if you have a file called alsa (like Terry does), it will get pulled in after aliases. Note that this is how debian does it.
