Hello, Jeff, and list. I just tried putting in the keymap file. It loaded ok, but however I still have no review keys. I know the installition went smoothly without problems with the keymap. I believe it looks like a complete kernal recompilation. If anyone has any other ideas let me know. ----- Original Message ----- From: Geoff Shang <gshang10@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <speakup at braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Saturday, December 16, 2000 10:52 PM Subject: Re: Problems with speakup. > Hi: > > Seems you don't have the speakup keymap loading. there's a number of ways > to fix this, but seeing I'm not a redhatter, I can't comment on how best to > go about this in redhat. > > For a temporary work-around, get the speakupmap.map file from the FTP site, > then every time you boot, type: > > loadkeys <speakupmap.map > > Geoff. > > > -- > Geoff Shang <gshang10 at scu.edu.au> > ICQ number 43634701 > > > _______________________________________________ > Speakup mailing list > Speakup at braille.uwo.ca > http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup >
