Hi: You don't need a cron job to periodically run fetchmail. To run every 2 hours, you can put a line that says: set daemon 7200 This is presuming you don't need to do anything else (e.g. dial the system in). but I guess that if you didn't have to do that, you'd check for mail a lot more often.
