Hi: The latest stable release of speakup is 0.09B. If you aren't using kernel 2.4.0testxx then this version is the same as version 0.09A. Both are better than plain 0.09, though I'd suspect all the boot disks and so-forth would have 0.09A or B in them, rather than just 0.09.
