Hi Chris. Well, if you've built the alsa drivers, you're halfway there. The software you need is Speak Freely. I think its available at: http://www.speakfreely.org. If you really get desperate they even have a windblows version. By the way the only reason I tried "clean" was that "mrproper" didn't work.
