Hello list,
I have a question about the 8250 driver when used with a device-tree.
I have a system with a xuartps and eight ns16550 compatible devices.
The xuartps is the primary console and has a serial0 alias which gives
it
/dev/ttyPS0.
This makes it impossible to give the serial0 alias to one of the
ns16550's.
I can enter serial1..serial8 in the device-tree, but serial8 is ignored
and
the last ns16550 gets /dev/ttyS0.
How am I supposed to properly fix the uarts to a device name?
Kind Regards,
Maarten Brock
