Oxford Espresso support?

I'm considering buying an 8-port serial card based on the Oxford
Espresso chipset for a test laboratory I'm setting up. The
application is watching time-service GPSes for 1PPS.

I'm concerned about TIOCMIWAIT support - I need to be able to wait
a thread on 1PPS handshake transitions.

Accordingly, two questions:

1. Has support for Oxford Espresso been merged? If so, in what version?

2. Does the driver support TIOCMIWAIT for this device?

If the answers to these questions are unhappy,

3. Can the list recommend a TIOCMIWAIT-supporting card with more than 4 ports?
