Yes I see it now. Before the conversion, platform_legacy_resume() path is taken since pnp didn't have pm.

       if (drv->pm) {
                if (drv->pm->restore)
                        ret = drv->pm->restore(dev);
       } else {
                ret = platform_legacy_resume(dev);
        }
