That likely means the problem is in the setup on the burner. If there's some filesystem above this, there was a Read/Write flag error in blk_rq_map_kern ... but that was introduced in 2.6.36-rc1. The only recent changes to sr were the BLK pushdown and they were post 2.6.35.
