[PATCH 04/10] target: Fix some obvious style problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Fix obvious style problems, that checkpatch can solve by itself.
Patch was made automatically with this command:

./scripts/checkpatch.pl --fix-inplace -f ./drivers/target/**/*.{c,h}

and then carefully checked manually.

Warnings and errors that were fixed are:
WARNING: quoted string split across lines
WARNING: unnecessary whitespace before a quoted newline
WARNING: break quoted strings at a space character
WARNING: Integer promotion: Using 'h' in '%hu' is unnecessary
  ERROR: trailing whitespace
ERROR: code indent should use tabs where possible
WARNING: please, no spaces at the start of a line
WARNING: please, no space before tabs
WARNING: break quoted strings at a space character
WARNING: Missing a blank line after declarations
WARNING: space prohibited between function name and open parenthesis '('
ERROR: space prohibited after that open parenthesis '('
ERROR: space required before the open parenthesis '('
ERROR: space prohibited before that close parenthesis ')'
ERROR: do not initialise statics to NULL
WARNING: sizeof buf should be sizeof(buf)
  WARNING: space prohibited before semicolon
  WARNING: Possible repeated word: 'the'
  WARNING: Possible repeated word: 'calling'
WARNING: Prefer 'unsigned int' to bare use of 'unsigned'
WARNING: Unnecessary typecast of c90 int constant - '(unsigned long long)0' could be '0ULL'
ERROR: spaces required around that '=' (ctx:VxW)
ERROR: space required after that ',' (ctx:VxV)
WARNING: Statements should start on a tabstop
WARNING: Symbolic permissions 'S_IWUSR | S_IRUGO' are not preferred. Consider using octal permissions '0644'.
WARNING: Symbolic permissions 'S_IWUSR' are not preferred. Consider using octal permissions '0200'.
  WARNING: Prefer __packed over __attribute__((__packed__))
WARNING: Comparisons should place the constant on the right side of the test

Then all format strings arguments were aligned by parenthesis by
git-clang-format util.
