https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201941 Bug ID: 201941 Summary: Errors with SanDisk and Samsung 64GB micro SD cards on ThinkPad E485 Product: IO/Storage Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 4.19.4 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: SCSI Assignee: linux-scsi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: alexander.reimelt@xxxxx Regression: No Created attachment 279909 --> https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=279909&action=edit dmesg -l err | grep mmc The kernel detects the card and I can see it with lsblk but I can't read or write to it. The cards works under Windows (not tested on this pc) and on my Android phone with kernel 3.10.108. I have an other old 2GB card that works on my Thinkpad E485 without any issues with linux. Seems to be a issue with the card reader (D Host controller: O2 Micro, Inc. SD/MMC Card Reader Controller (rev 01)). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
