PROBLEM: MegaRAID SCSI fails to initialize due to double-freeing IRQ 58

[1.] The initlialization of the megaraid_sas module fails with the message "Trying to free already-free IRQ 58".

[2.] With the latest kernel used by CoreOS stable (4.14.16), the megaraid_sas module does not properly initialize. Disks connected to the controller (well, virtual ones at least) are not visible to the system. The controller is also completely inaccessible from storcli (read: it says there's 0 controllers in the system).

I was told to report this to the "upstream maintainers" (I hope I got the right list here) here from https://github.com/coreos/bugs/issues/2360. Further conversation can be found there, though I doubt there is information there that is not included here.

Also please notice I have never reported a bug to a mailing list before, let alone the kernel's mailing lists, so please let me know, if I did something wrong or when further information is needed.
