I don't think the iopriority of the request is being used correctly. What does it mean to use 0x7 as an indicator that a command should be put at the head of the queue? This would be clearer if it was using some of the macros from ioprio. If 0x7 means something special I think this should be some #define in the includes of the fusion driver with some documentation. > -----Original Message----- > From: Adam Manzanares [mailto:adam.manzanares@xxxxxxxx] > Sent: Thursday, October 13, 2016 1:54 PM > To: axboe@xxxxxxxxx; tj@xxxxxxxxxx; dan.j.williams@xxxxxxxxx; > hare@xxxxxxx; martin.petersen@xxxxxxxxxx; mchristi@xxxxxxxxxx; > toshi.kani@xxxxxxx; ming.lei@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; sathya.prakash@xxxxxxxxxxxx; > chaitra.basappa@xxxxxxxxxxxx; suganath-prabu.subramani@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Cc: linux-block@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; linux-ide@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; > linux-kernel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; MPT-FusionLinux.pdl@xxxxxxxxxxxx; > linux-scsi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; Adam Manzanares; Adam Manzanares > Subject: [PATCH v4 2/4] fusion: remove iopriority handling > > The request priority is now by default coming from the ioc.
