Still struggling with Adaptec 29160 since kernel 2.6.14 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5659 http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127991 Finally I had time to solder a serial cable.(Not being a miser, :-D Nobody sells one around here, at least, I couldn't find one)
I hope this capture of boot messages could help to resolve the problem. Actually the kernel 2.6.17-rc4 allows me, at least, to boot and log in Although it show a lot of SCSI related error messages, If you need anything else... you know my email. Thank you for your work.
