I'm sorry, but that's my fault. The driver used is SYM53C88XX_2, not the ncr53C8xx. In 2.6 kernel isn't possible to select the NCR driver from 'make menuconfig'. But with the kernel 2.4 I haven't any problem with this card, what works perfectly with WinXP (ouch!) and Solaris 10 x86. If I can help to you, don't hesitate to ask me. :) Best regards
