Take a look at the link below, working SAS code with the current
kernel. No one is trying to produce big-bang changes. This is what
Jeff want's you to believe that I'm trying to do -- this is part of his
political game and FUD and apparently he's succeeding.
I repeat: no on is trying to produce a new "big-bang changes" as you

No, this is what he wants you to believe that I'm trying to do. This is what
people start doing when they loose on technological ground. Do not
yield to the FUD and politics. See the working code of current Linus's tree

I repeat, no one is trying to replace anything or throw anything out.
This is just FUD and politics which Jeff is spreading because he's got
an agenda in convincing certain people certain things.
See the working SAS code in the link below -- current Linus' tree with
SAS in it. Soon enough it would contain SDI back-end and then HP and LSI
would be able to plug right in, and I think there's an engineer out there
who's already implemented a front end.
