How about something like:

const char *cpufreq_dev)name = "exynos-cpufreq";
if (match)
  cpufreq_dev_name = match->data;
platform_device_register_simple(cpufreq_dev_name -1, NULL, 0);

Less returns and one call to platform_device_register_simple().
