The discussion went in favor of the use of regmap interface. As many other drivers are already using regmap interfaces for the same purpose, it would also be consistent to use PMU syscon handle to control phy enable bit in the hdmi driver. I will address the pending comments from Tomasz Figa and post the next version of this patch. Please let me know if any concern.
