Two ack's and two r-b's. Any chance this patch can be picked up?

At the very least, we can have this feature working for the host-level
kernel.

The distro_id is still being figured out. A follow-on patch will satisfy that
at a later date.

Patch 2 (KVM stuff) I am going to continue to work on based on the feedback I
have received.
