Hi, I want to implement some signaling between kernel space and user space in a PREEMPT-RT kernel (4.4.9-rt17) to coordinate some use of shared memory via mmap. I have reservations about using netlink for something real-time dependent. Has anyone used eventfd and found the performance satisfactory? Or anything else?
