How else are we supposed to have this resolved by the RT maintainers?  There is no consistent merge cadence like we have for the stable RT tree.
As GKH points out we all need to be using the latest stable.

When the RT kernel is 3 versions behind how is that the latest?  When does 4.14 RT move to the stable RT tree?

Generally we always merge in the latest stable into our children branches but we try not to resolve merge conflicts as this may
cause other merge issues for us in the future.
