We will soon have an array of these machines to hopefully reproduce the problem quicker so we would be open to testing proposed fixes. You seem hesitant if this is a valid fix, did you (or somebody else) tackle this issue in later versions? I checked in the current source code (3.14.25 RT 22) and did not see any mitigation attempts, but I am quite new to PREEMPT- RT so I might have missed it.
