osadl question .. stable version ?

I know I have asked before, but osadl seem's stuck on 2.6.33 , quote :

' OSADL recommends the RT-Preempt realtime Linux kernel
2.6.33.7.2-rt30 as latest stable version (Released on December 21,
2010) '

Is this not misleading, I can't find the criteria for latest stable ?

I am under the impression that there are some goodies in the 3.x
series, both general and RT that are nice, so sorry if I am asking in
the wrong forum but I just don't get this, ( with the version ), not a
biggie but looks odd, if one haven't followed rt for a while.

 / regards, Lars Segerlund.
