Hi !

quick general comparison between 3.0.0 (-n) and 3.0.0-rt6 (-t) 
processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550 Processor (32bit install)
Distribution: Debian 6.0.2
lmbech config: default

Network impact is visible, process creation related impact is clearly visible 
and filesystem latency increase in rt is quite high (except for protection 
faults) but the bandwidth impact of rt on VFS is quite small bandwidth on
network (only local communication) still noticable.

All runs on both kernels are non-rt tasks only.
